If you answered "yes" to any of these questions you may benefit from enrolling in the no-cost AcuFocus™ ACI 7000 clinical trial. The AcuFocus™ ACI 7000 is currently being evaluated as a treatment for presbyopia (“aging eyes”) in the United States. Enrollment in clinical trial must take place before April 5, 2007.
McDonald Eye Associates is participating in the clinical trial of the AcuFocus ACI 7000 Inlay. The inlay is intended to improve near vision in patients with presbyopia for reading without glasses.
The AcuFocus clinical trial is open to men and women between the ages of 45 and 55 who are in good health and have normal, healthy vision.
After the procedure, you must be willing and able to return for scheduled follow-up examinations. Return visits will be scheduled with you by the medical team and will occur at least eleven times over a three-year period.
Qualified participants will receive this investigational procedure at no charge.
